Built sometime between 1937 and 1950 this shed must have looked excellent when it was new. Three windows, two doors, felt singled roof and sparkling white paint over the asbestos cement sheeting. But many years of neglect (not by me) has resulted in the glass falling out, the sheeting cracking and the roof rotting. So it had to go, especially with children about.
The new shed at the bottom of the garden is now complete. I built a suspended base for it as didn't want to build a concrete or slab base - the site isn't on the flat.
Shed assembly was very easy, the walls are tongue and groove, you simply slot it together putting the appropriate pieces in place (the windows could be on the other side if you want). We got it from a local independant timber merchant: http://www.george-walker.co.uk/
