UPDATE MAY 1ST 2010 SAD NEWS....we moved house on the 17th April and l'm afraid we had to leave the sheds behind l know l know ..how could we but sorry to say there is no room for sheds at the new address...but l have a whole conservatory (twice the shed space) for my craft studio and OH has a 2 story double garage not our beloved sheds but we still own them and they are going to be cared for by a lovely family who will take good care of them and use HIS AND HERS with love and kindness..promise!!
ORIGINAL MESSAGE Just 4 weeks old and special because l helped build it l have the bruises to prove it...my long waited for creative space to decorate and play in..my special place to take tea in with friends and hide in when l need a retreat
It's new just a month old on Monday September 7th 2009 and still undergoing an interior transformation we bought it ready to put up and wasn't each panel heavy!!...added 50mm wool silk insulation and tongue and groove cladding to the walls not quite finished yet as we now can't get any ore of the insulation and still have a wall to do..bum!! Bit of a posh shed so my friends call her....chandelier wallpaper and her own tea service hehehe Will eventually be painted in white with a vintage distressed look, all the furniture bought from Ikea over the last 2 years to hide all my craft stash has now vacated space in the house and the addition of a friends throw out wardrobe mirror has given the whole place a double the size illusion of space Chandelier hung and the 3rd wall and half the roof completed September 8th loving the 'posh look' adding lots of 'WE LOVE SHEDS' bunting and window stickers..l have lots of fun in my shed hehehe Started to paint the walls and finish the ceiling and made a couple of shelves complete with peg rail to hang stuff on....getting harder to paint now as l'm using it and it's filling up fast particularly with CATS....they all join me and they all want MY SEAT!! hehehe
