It was adapted as a surprise birthday present by my daughter and her partner, from my late husbands workshop shed, into a relaxing nostalgic "den". Old tools still hang where they have been for over 60 years. alongside photographs fairy lights and bunting. The old workbench was carefully taken apart and recycled to be used as the outer lower walls.
I sit and have breakfast somtimes, drinks and meals with family and friends, also use it as an art studio.my daughter found the old leather sofas on e bay and the dining chairs from a charity shop.her partner made the table from a old pine door and the coffee table from an old wine box and a wooden headboard.it has been revamped with love and lots of hard work!!My grandchildren named it my FAIRY DEN ! And it feels great!!!
