We painted our shed pink and white candy-stripe to transform it into The Summerhouse, an enchanting romantic hideaway at the bottom of the garden, beneath the entwined boughs of the apple and pear trees. Furnished with love,on a shoe- string budget, we sourced Isle of Wight memorabilia from local charity shops, flea markets and boot sales. Finds includes a '50's cocktail cabinet filled with Babycham and Cherry B glasses and retro Island postcards which we've hung in vintage frames. It is our perfect retreat where we can create magical memories entertaining friends to afternoon tea and cocktails or enjoy a candlelit supper for two served on mis-matched retro rose crockery. Here we step into another time, another place full of happiness and simple pleasures.
