The idea for my snug was born out of the need for my own space. A dear friend of ours built it based on my design and specifications and he put all his craftsmanship into creating this beautiful and dearly loved space. It has got a bunk bed with underneath storage space and there's a hammock too. It is the nicest way to have a rest to hang out in the hammock, hear the birds and squirrels pattering on the roof, rummaging in the garden ....
The snug was built over a period of 4 months. It rests on 3x4 stilts. We used sheep wool as insulation material.
