The Brokedown Palace is a cosy cabin, down by the River Lea. It's filled with everything you need to live the cabin dream.
The exterior cladding is weatherboard made from slow-grown FSC accredited Swedish pine. The interior is reclaimed floorboards from an Edwardian factory that was demolished. The roof is made from recycled tyres.
We use the cabin as a photo studio for our online shop - The Brokedown Palace, and a workspace for sheddies (cabinies) Dee Dee and Ian. Also sometimes we just hang in there, listen to music, drink whiskey and play cards. We have plans to add railway sleepers to the outside area to form a porch. We will also be adding antlers to the apex very soon.
