(LATEST UPDATE 2015 the shed has now been officially completed apart from minor details, its now ready for its new role as my workshop and greenhouse) (UPDATE 2014 this shed has now been moved to its new home and is currently undergoing major restoration prior to reassembly). this shed holds many memories happy and sad.ive owned it for about 20 yrs from my early teen days as my hobby and hangout with my mates.whilst we spent many years building airfix, drinking, and playing with trains in it,the shed has witnessed some very sad occasions in the time ive owned this shed through my best(shed) friends moving on and my 1st relationship breakdown as ive used it to try and get myself back on track.moving on through the yrs ive spent lots more time in it before meeting my current fiancee and the shed sat unloved and starting to decay for many more months/yrs,the time has come to bring this sad shed back to life and love it once more.so here goes a long love affair(and restoration) with a shed that helped me be what i am now.and now my best friend is back in wales 5 mins down road yay :o) pics will add as work goes on
the shed is well made 12x8 pent roof type, typical shiplap construction and has 4 windows at front.it started life behind a car showroom and served as an office and tea room.the showroom closed down and was abandoned for many years as me and my mates actually hung out in it for a while untill i plucked up the courage to buy it before the land was cleared before development.the shed was moved to my farm where it spent its 20 yrs with me until its move now.i built my own floor and repaired any rot and lasted pretty well, now it needs quite a bit of repair but nothing too serious.
