    Other Shed info

I had a massive mortgage with no way of paying it so I sat one day under the construction with no roof sheltering from the sun trying to get inspiration to paint a picture, when it came to me, if I could turn this into a studio there is a possibility I can either teach people to paint and earn money or use it to bring my clients, but the universe had other ideas. A journalist I had been working with, said if you could find the money to put a roof on and turn it into a cottage it may just save your bacon! I got friends to help, went to suppliers and asked if they had any damaged or discounted products, I used bits of wood left over to make a wash stand and wardrobe doors. I laid the tiles in the bathroom and the wooden floor with some help from a friend and cut a corner off an oak door myself to make it fit into the quirky corner, I wanted to upscale as much as I could I painted everything to renew and refresh, I couldn't even afford to plaster the walls, so I just painted the plasterboard! And its fine. It's been in 18 magazines and newspapers including two in Italy both did 22 pages about the interior! Wow and it has been featured in The Telegraph, The Times and The Mail, I have even written a book on it called from 'Shed to Chic'.
