7' x 7' Summerhouse converted into bar... Nee - Shrine to crazy Spanish rock Band 'StOp sToP' who lived with us at this address for one year. This band are destined for the top and my wife Donna knows a thing or two about these things. She is the widow of Gary Holton (Actor and lead singer of top 70's/80's band 'Heavy Metal Kids' and long time partner of Thin Lizzie guitarist Gary Moore. The bar has a retro feel about it with 1970's beer mats emblazoned across the ceiling whilst the bar furniture and walls are smothered with photos and posters of our adopted glam/heavy rock band 'StOp sToP'
I am a furniture maker so to convert this shed into a bar was somewhat a busmans holiday. (An oak panelled bar no less!) Donna added the feminine touch with upholstered stool and curtains.The end result is an inexpensive but classy bar with an attitude. Friends and neighbours love it!
