    Shed Features

It started with a throw away comment from my husband that we could have a workshop in the garden After 8 years in business I had well and truly outgrown my dining room table and was desperate for a separate workspace Its a 12 x 8 traditional style insulated garden office from Warwick Offices at Southam Warwickshire It was delivered and erected on 19th November 2015 My husband and I decorated and fitted it out with Ikea base units The 1950s larder unit and wall cabinet with glass doors were lucky finds on eBay and look great aswell as providing valuable storage space We werent able to put plumbing in but found a great company online called Teal wash and I have a small sink automatic tap unit that is designed for catering trailers I moved into my studio on the 9th of December and the first cake to be decorated in there was a Christmas cake replica of my studio commissioned by Warwick Offices Its allowed me to reclaim the house as a home and I now have a work space that I can shut the door on I used to have work related stuff stashed all over the house Its now mostly in my cake studio Its got a 1950svintage vibe and decorated in white and duck egg blue It had to be pretty aswell as being a practical workspace for decorating my cakes The pretty caf nets have had to be replaced with more practical roller blinds to keep the sun from fading the colours from any cakes Im working on I love it so much I think my favourite bit in there is my ribbon rack made from plastic gutters No more rummaging around in a storage box for a reel of ribbon
