My shed is divided into a workshop on one side and artist studio on the other. The original shed was given a makeover and cladding and the studio built onto it doubling the size and the whole building covered in a turf roof. The cladding and studio was built predominantly from scrap materials from neighbors and friends gardens, sheds , garages and skips. The only things bought were the plywood sheets and some strong timbers for the roof and glass for the windows. It was built and designed with a hobbit hole feel to it single handed by myself over 3 months and all the carving, metalwork and decoration is by me too
The studio was built in the summer of 2013 after my gallery closed and i was left with nowhere to work. i spend a lot of time in there working as a self employed artist/craftsman.
