it is my little oasis where I can switch off & be creative & messy without the stress of having to clear up - well not immediately!
It originally started as a hand me down shed to house the garden tractor. Bits were added to the front during the 90's to make an aviary for budgies. After the children had grown up & I retired the studio evolved using mostly recyclable materials (windows ,timber, kitchen units) left over from alterations to the cottage & log stores.A casual mention that I had nowhere to store art books resulted in a knock through into the paint store to make a small library where I can read, watch art DVDs & even fall asleep in the rocking chair. The other half of the paint store has been converted into "Framer's End" where my partner has his own space to practise his framing on my attempts at being creative.
