Everyone is welcome to stay at Hut Therapy - many people come for B&B - to chill, enjoy the countryside (South Downs National Park) and eat good, whole some food. I have set up the hut as a therapeutic space to bring people closer to nature and with the intention of helping people on their food journeys or to support people recovering from illness. Food is prepared by Gilly Webber, a Macrobiotic Association UK accredited cook & health adviser. A weekend stay is a welcome antidote to modern, fast-pace, instant living - many people come from London & Brighton to stay here.
The hut is bespoke built with wood from a reclaimed Sussex Barn. It has other reclaimed features - including floor to ceiling windows, butlers sink, lighting. It has a space saving ensuite shower/wc room with (salvaged) sliding door & built from marine ply. Constructed by New Zealand carpenters, to the owner's design, is something akin to the shape of a railway carriage but you feel cocooned inside. The hut is well insulated - roof (which is corrugated metal), walls and floor and also insulates sound well - is nestled under trees.
