    Shed Features

The cabin is built from 200 mm diameter logs notched at all corners. It has a thatched roof with a glass roof over veranda area. The floor is made from round log slices that are encapsulated in a resin with sea shells, and also glows at night. There is a mezzanine floor area for sleeping 2. 2 to 4 people are able to sleep in it. Cabin is built below ground height and sits overlooking a natural Pond which is home to 2 very rare Long Nosed Russian Sturgeon called Mr and Mrs Hannibal. A man made stream and waterfall have also been added next to the cabin and also a wildflower garden. It is sympathetically carved into the landscape within a naturally wooded conservation area with a Hansel and Gretal atmosphere with a Robinson Crusoe Beach added to the cabin grounds. The Cabin is let out for charity raising functions free of charge. Cabin is kitted out with Cane Furniture and Finnish Reindeer Furniture.

    Other Shed info

The cabin was designed, manufactured and erected by the UK's only Commercial Log Building Company, The Tsarina Imperial Dacha Co Ltd, using locally sourced Scottish trees. The external wood is protected by a 100% natural proprietary timber preserver developed by the the Log Building Company and weather tested by Strathclyde University which demonstrated that it is far superior than other treatments on the market. The treatment is based upon natural oils, and demonstrated flame retardant properties, but this has still to undergo testing to confirm the flame retardant properties.
