My shed is my space where I can work... Make a big creative mess and no one can tell me off! It's an amazing workroom in the garden, close to the house so I'm in earshot of my children! The design for the workshop was rustled up on a scrap bit of paper one night...built by my husband, who says had to sacrifice some of his space to me to keep me happy! I have fond memories of this build and the fact that we built it makes it all the more special!
Four years ago we had to collapse some old tumbled down pig sheds... In its place my husband and I dug out footings (8m by 5m) and began the build of my design... Reusing old roofing tin and other bits and bobs we finally (4 months later) completed our workshop, one half for him and the other half for me! Our sides are completely separated with boards and plaster. I'm the lucky one that has a log burner to keep me cosy so no excuses for not working all year round!
