    Shed Features

The playpod cube was designed and built by my husband and his dad - a marketer and retired civil engineer. It has 2 sides: 1 side is for children to play in. It has a little wraparound bench sit and platform where kids can climb up, open a pothole and star gaze at night. There is a little circle hole that leads to the other side of the structure which has a day bed for relaxing, reading and a nice hang out for drinks . A storage area is tucked underneath the bed. Last summer, 3 children and 1 adult slept in it quite comfortably. It was painted with Cuprinol inky stone and sandy shell.

    Other Shed info

The playpod cube was built in 2014. We wanted a summer house for the children and after discussions we settled for a big structure that kids could grow in and play even when they are teens and also adults can enjoy. It is a special space in the garden that works well for both children and adults.
