I work in this shed, making theatrical masks and puppets.
This work entails drawing, clay-work, wood carving and painting. Many materials are used including leather and paper.
Being on a steep hill the shed looks out over the top of my house and from the patio outside the door I can see Derbyshire hills in the distance.
Inspired by a wooden cabin I stayed in for christmas one year, I came back full of enthusiasm for a space to work in. I needed it to be warm in winter for all round use . I also needed natural light whenever possible.
