The shed was a summer project to provide a new garden office for my work as a residential architect. The project uses SIPS as its main structure over clad in pallet wood.
The shed celebrates the reclaimed pallet wood externally and the current trend of shabby chic internally. The floor is a marbled mix of self levelling compound and sand with clear resin over the walls are painted SIPS upper with a pallet wood panelling served with industrial galvanised steel electrical conduit and exposed Edison bulb lighting. The verandah is formed of railway sleepers bolted together and the front of the office formed to conceal 2 garden storage units to replace the small garden shed that was lost.
