For many years of living, working and holidaying in Spain I have frequented the beach bars known as Chiringuitos. Normally just a small wooden shack serving drinks, food and ice creams they are the place to go whilst out sunning yourself. I have built my own Chiringuito in my back garden. It has become a great social place for all my friends and family to come along. A fully stocked bar, complete with optics, sink, fridge and freezer. Whether it is a beer, a G&T or a selection of cocktails you want the Chiringuito de Duncan is it.
With a TV on the bar we have hosted parties for the Royal Wedding, all of the England World Cup games, birthdays and a New Years Eve Party.
The bar was built with the help of my 2 closest mates, Steve and Mark. We have tried to recycle/upcycle pretty much the whole building. I did buy some wood for the frame and the floor and my wife bought the bamboo wall at the back. The rest of the building was recycled, including using old Victorian doors for the walls and my old kitchen worktop for the bar.
