My shed is so special to me. its my creative sanctuary a place I can truly be me. There are no massive features to it apart from it being like stepping into my brain. I mostly use it creating artwork such as painting, sculpture and animations. with all the windows around one end allows me to have good steady light. where my desk sits has a fantastic SW view over the backdown hills. also seeing the weather rolling in is a great treat. I've actually used this in one of my animations.
The other end of my shed is a tool shed for my lawnmower and garden stuff. this is separated off by a wall made from old doors I salvaged. Racking also recycled.
My shed was made 3 years ago. at the end of our garden which is slightly slope at one side. I built the shed of wooded posts and then found the correct level for the flooring. I then built the rest using 2x4 CLS creating a frame work. finally clad with feather edged boarding and a tin roof. its all been insulated with 50mm celotex so is nice and snug in the winter and generally pretty cool in the summer. my heating is from a heat lamp which puts out the perfect amount of heat and a great warm light.
