Steps at the rear leading out of a hatch and across a raiseable drawbridge to the upper lookout platform with gazebo roof. Door at the front leading out on to balcony with fireman's pole and steps down on to the garage roof deck. Small hoist for raising/lowering snacks & soft toys. Hidden trap door in roof to access inside the garage. Also rear access door to garage from ground level with secret code and hidden secret retractable stairs to roof level. Garage front with bifold doors to enable electric jeep entry/exit. External solar LED lights. You can find a Facebook photo album of the entire build from the website link above.
Phase A (entry platform, hut & balcony deck & observation deck) was built during the first lockdown by myself from materials from local builders merchants & garden landscaping suppliers. Phase B (fireman's pole, observation deck roof & garage) was then was then added to over the summer with materials from online suppliers as materials like decking became harder to source! Smaller details have gradually been added over the course of the year. I'm gradually working through my sons ideas list created from his imagination and the BBC Dengineers program. Suggestions of zip lines have been ruled out on safety grounds. ;-)
