This shed pub recreation space is and always has been an escape area whilst it does have a bar this isnt the only feature it has an aquarium and television also a little area for reading and drinking coffee and tea It was borne out of lockdown boredom and soon became a necessary space many have already shared time in it family friends and at Christmas a little party for neighbours it is quintessentially a space of relaxation and peace P
The octopus and biscuit name is borne out of the random nature of the place - some of the art on the walls reflect confectionery from the USA with cuttings from life magazine also the octopus features on a large bar mat advertising Gin - this shed is complicated in its identity but essentially sits as an area where people can escape the day to day world problems and just sit by the fire sipping something warm or cold whilst reading a book / magazine or listening to music. The TV operation is for wet Wednesday afternoon Film watching it’s a happy place
