This was my first home. A 1 bed flat I moved in to during covid as my own haven! I had designed the shed (and perhaps naively purchased it!) before I’d even competed on the flat. It was my first project and I loved turning it from a simple garden shed into my calm, inspiring working space, which was much needed when I was working on the covid response remotely! Having this space meant I could hang up from a stressful call and look around me and wind down!
Aside from the construction of the shed (which would have been disastrous!) I did everything else on my own during lockdown!
