    Shed Features

My pub is special as it was recycled from an older shed that had seen better days. I was able to use the existing floor, that needed reinforced with recycled off cuts, and the wall studs were able to be used from the original , again with a few needing a little securing. The vinyl floor covering was taken from a domestic kitchen and fitted my pub almost perfectly…with little or no waste.

The shed is insulated with excess rock wool left over from a job and heading to landfill. The French doors were also destined for landfill. It’s heated with a multi fuel burning stove from a clearance sale from a liquidated business.

I sometimes work from my shed in the winter months with a small fire going and it feels very homely. Recycling , and repurposing materials probably saved me about £1000.00 in materials

    Other Shed info

When building my shed I was given invaluable help from two friends who understood that this was not a shed being rescued to be another shed. They knew it was going to be a place for future gatherings for friends and family . It has become just that…
