    Shed Features

Our pub shed grew from being mainly storage with a small bar and seating at the front that we cobbled together to enteratin our visiting family from Austria one Christmas, to a fully fledged pub and entertainament space.

Largely done to entertain family, friends and neighbours it has become a fixture for parties, hosting Christmas dinner for 10, has a home cinema and a sofa bed for the odd guest to stay overnight.

Designed and built solely by my wife and I using scrap pieces and offcut from projects we work on, I created all the furinture by hand, we have state of the art lighting (on a budget) a fully stocked bar, dartboard and the building is insulated using packing from Hello Fresh! All in a space of under 8 sqm!

    Other Shed info

I often work form home there, our teenage kids use it as a chillout space (My wife and I live in a two bed garden flat with two teenage children) so this has been an excellent way to add a room to give us space, it was a lifesaver during lockdown and is a much loved and well used space that once was a falling down, unloved and unused end of our very narrow garden.

During lockdown in December 2020 we added an Austrian sausage stand (the kids were sorely missing our annual Christmas trip to see family in Austria and visit their favourite Bosna sausage stand so we recreated on the pub/shed deck, recipe and all. Somehow word got out and we featured on the the front page of the Salzburg News!
