Carl's Surf Shack

Shed Features

I moved house with my husband Carl in the summer of 2021. The house was a new build and the garden just grass so our plan was to landscape the garden. Tragically Carl was involved in a fatal cycling accident just before christmas that year. This year I went ahead with our plan to landscape the garden and decided on a nautical theme as Carl was a talented, fanatical windsurfer and surfer. With the help of a garden designer we came up with a design. The focal point of the garden is the summerhouse which sits in a specially designed beach area. It's a lovely place to sit and remember Carl and the great times we had.

Inside the shed is furnished with all things nautical. On the outside a couple of old surf boards of Carl's stand against the shed drying out.
