SBM is the humble and beloved potting shed of two enthusiastic novice north norfolk allotmenteers. Designed on a scrap of paper and built from scratch using nearly all reclaimed materials.

Essentially, SBM is a practical storage solution for gardening tools, and dog biscuits. A place to keep seeds and grow seedlings. It has also proved a cosy safe haven during stormy northeasterlies and is, apparently, a really good place to take a snooze in the sunshine. Do we also mention the recent ladies’ lav extension? An absolute game-changer.

We admire its symmetry and simplicity. Standing proudly and stoically, come rain or shine, while we attempt to transform that big grassy field around it into a cornucopia of vegetables, fruits and flowers.
