OSmithers is a proper Irish bar with a rugby theme on the inside. It is authentic with everything that u would expect to see in a genuine commercial Irish pub. From the rear view on the outside it is a replica of Blackpool Tower and has a 25ft replica of Blackpool Tower on the roof which was built by Vickers Armstrong Apprentices during the Second World War which I have totally restored and updated. There are electric roller shutters on 3 sides of O'Smithers so when the weather is suitable the shutters can be opened to give the pub a totally "open" feel.
I, with the help of a good frien built OSmithers 3 years ago and then last summer I doubled the size of it to cope with the amount of people who frequent it. We use it for socials with good friends and also to hold get-togethers to raise money for local charities. The majority of the memorabilia within the pub has been brought on eBay.
