Shed of the year 2024, Sponsored by 
This shed is a club for older men so they can get together to make and mend anything they wish. It is based on the Men's Shed movement in Australia and is the first to be started in this country by a group of intending users rather than a sponsoring organisation. There are 12 members at present and we have a room in a community centre in central London. Hardly anyone coming has space to create their own shed at home and this is a solution for them.
Communal sheds like these are increasing in number. If you can think of anyone who might want to join/start one help is available on www.menssheds.org.uk
