There are so many reasons why it is special. Firstly that I built it with the help of family and friends, there were no plans and I am no joiner. Everything was hand cut and routered. There are a number of unique aspects including, my Japanese Classic Motorbike Collection, 2 1970's 750cc Hondas, 175 Honda Sloper, Honda SS50,and Suzuki GT250 down stairs. Upstairs, Honda C70 and Honda C90, this is where I keep all my spares and bits and pieces.
It has a large wood burner, which is fantastic on the colder nights, an electric hoist to get the bikes up stairs! A music system, 1970's large LAVA lamp, trophy/collectables cabinet, jukebox and sooo much more!!! My family class it as their own 'Pearl & Dean' cinema (I am showing my age now!) I have recently installed a projector with 2 metre screen, just need ice- cream and Kiora. There is a 3 metre shuffle- board games table in Mahogany. On the front of the cabin there is a balcony, which is a great sun trap. The number of people who have been to view have all said the same thing, they are now inspired and are going home to build one! Once the door is closed you feel in a world of your own - an holiday resort in the garden. The electrics were done by our friend and neighbour, Gary, who is a first class certified electrician. He fitted a brand new trip board, it runs by mains and generator. Lastly, it just makes me feel proud, satisfied and content.
