Built with love from anything we could afford or lay our hands on, Its just a fabulaous place for family and friends to gather. Large screen satelite tv, internet access and home made food, together with a great pub garden, theres no reason to be anywhere else.
Built from blocks with hand made windows. Roof beams and door rescued from skips. The trick was not to build it too quickly. Take your time and it will all come together. We spent 6 months on the build. Have had The Anglers Rest for 11 years and have just finished its 4th refurb, having moved everything inside 4 times. This keeps it interesting for our visitors. Its an ongoing project that keeps giving.
