    Other Shed info

Designed and built by John Tucker who was born and raised in Glastonbury, the E-den is the amalgamation of 20 years working in the timber industry and a passion for re-locatable buildings. Having built a Victorian Bathing Machine, shepherds huts, and a home office called The Hut his latest design the E-den is all about curves. Based on the Fibonacci number sequence, or golden ratio, the E-den is mathematically balanced in its proportions. These mathematical ratios are found in all of nature from sunflowers to acorns to snail shells to pineapples. Shapes in nature are designed to make use of maximum space and light so the E-den was designed to follow these principles. The E-den is built around a steel frame, incorporating a unique jack leg system that allows for re-location. All the materials were sourced locally here in Somerset. The E-den stands out from the crowd with its cotton canvas awning which doubles the size of the shed. This awning was designed and manufactured in Somerset using oiled cotton canvas. It is attached using scaffolding poles. An E-den is a mix of a tent, an airstream, a shepherds hut and a teardrop caravan. The E-den is a truly loveable posh shed.
