We have a big outdoor patio and bar and when we open the doors it makes it feel that much bigger.
The shed has been on our property since 2011 and was originally used as a tack shed for our daughters 4h pigs. Filled with mouse poop and crap we hadn't used in over 10 years we decided to transform it in December of 2018. Our daughter was getting ready to graduate from high school and my father was declining from COPD and I needed a project to keep my mind off it all. So my husband got a bar out of it. Theme is an Irish/Old American type sports bar. My husband spends every day in it after work to unwind. Having numerous friends that are in law enforcement and work at the school district, it's a place our friends can come and unwind, have a drink or two and not feel judge or bothered by being out in a public place. Fully insulated, with a propane heater fireplace, all items have been found at yard sales, Facebook marketplace and online. The inside bar is a 1950s vintage bar and stools we found on Facebook. We even have koozies we hand out when you come and visit! We have plans to hold fundraisers for our local FFA/4H scholarships.
