We launched our micro gin distillery from our garden shed in 2016. Called Shed 1 Distillery as we have 2 sheds in the garden!
In 2019 we re-potted to The Old Calf Shed on Ulverston's Auction Mart. Increased production 4-fold (went from a 25litre still to 100litre still) and opened our visitor attraction. We, Andy & Zoe and our part time gin elf and botanical pixie, host Distillery Tours & Gin Tastings, botanical-inspired Afternoon G&Teas and Cumbria's first and only, Make Your Own Gin.
The Old Calf Shed is also licensed for weddings and specialises in Gin Elopements.
Winner of The Gin Guide's Environmental Sustainability in both 2020 and 2021.
Winner of Icons of Gin, Visitor Attraction of the Year 2022.
