I fill my shed with cake every weekend. I am a cake maker that lives on the Epsom Downs. Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday I fill the shed with slices of cake that can be bought on an honesty box system.
It's a little grey potting shed, that my husband fixed to the wall of our house. I put bunting around the top, and it has its own sign on the front. I'm very proud of my little Cake Shed.
It's had a great response in the village that I live. I have had a few complaints about how I'm not helping with peoples healthy diets etc.
People have genuinely been honest and I have had no theft at all.
My shed is a new 'off the shelf' design. Whilst I would have loved a rustic shed that I had saved in some way, because it has food inside it has to be pretty clean and tidy.
