I've had so much fun and good times in this most hospitable hostelry, playing music, having party nights, recording some fantastic musicians for the F&F show on our local radio station and making some great friends.

Forge and Flagon news flash, the Forge has now been extended by four foot to the front. It now has it's own SNUG and front door. Three days to complete and cost of ﾣ5 for the varnish all of the rest is recycled looks fantastic. Big Thanks to my bestest Landlord. love the Landlady xxxxx

I am the head bar maid of the Forge and Flagon and therefore I speak from experience when I say I have never had a rubbish night in this place. All other regulars are fun and musical, if only by virtue of enjoying various music. The landlord and lady are two of my closet friends and while I maybe, just a tad, bias are the wonderful people who make new comers feel at home and old timers, like myself, feel like they've come home. Love you mand and smudge and love the forge too xxx

Thanks for the comment on my pub shed (Guzzle down lodge Essex) yea it was a smoking pub but i am afraid it is not used anymore and i am thinking of taking it down this year and building a new one as it has stood for 17 years now it is showing signs of age i will keep an eye out for pictures of your pub
