Fairground Arcade /Retro Museum

More than £500

Fairground Arcade parlour/museum of vintage/retro radios, tv's etc. Grabbing machine ,wooden handmade punch and judy stand I made out of our old bedroom wardrobe. original pulman puppets on display not to mention The worlds famous 1976 Raleigh chopper. An original fairground artifact of the oldest fairground ride in Britain, the rodeo switchback dates from as early as 1880. It is on display in my shed !The original ride is still housed at the Dingles Fairground Heritage centre in Devon. Over the last twelve months I have been busy restoring another five arcade machines to their former glory. They are now ready to be enjoyed. I have become an active member of the international arcade museum website, recently purchased a 1989 sega line of fire. It is a machine gun game that has been restored over the last 12 months to its former glory,. After doing research on the website, I found there to be 5 known instances of this machine owned by line of fire collectors who are active members of these, 2 of them are original dedicated machines, and 3 of them are only circuit boards. So now their are 3 dedicated machines along with mine and it now takes pride of place in my shed. I also own a power house strength testing machine from the early 1980s. It is fully restored and also very rare. A Bally selector fruit machine, dates back to early 1960s to more modern day fruit machine the flashback are also on display. also 1988 Tecmo silkworm jeep/helicopter arcade . My shed as been extended at the back by 3 feet over the last 12 months to include my ongoing collection of collectables which is still work in progress it currently measures 15ftx8ft. Future plans are to further extend my shed at both sides and front ,watch this space sheddies!!!
