This building is a potential dry run for the cabin we would like to build someday in the Northwoods (the area north of Chicago and south of the North Pole). It was originally titled the unacabin but we are in search of a more tasteful name. We have a friend (only known by her first name Katie) who named our proper house Marvin so the name might be changed to something more complementary. I've included a picture of the original shed that came with the house, a fantastic, vintage 1960 Mid-Century Modern.
This shed sits on 8 piers, 42" deep that were filled with 42 - 80lb bags of ready mix concrete. That's almost 1 1/2 tons of corncrete!
