Our shed is actually a very small writing/reading room that opens into the garden. The entire roof is a skylight strewn with marbles to give the effect of stained glass. The walls and doors are made of California redwood, glass tiles, and a white pearl plexiglass that glows like a Japanese lantern at night.
Having no drawings or fixed plan I started out to build a simple shed to store garden tools. One thing led to another and we now have a place for my wife to read and write in the garden ... but still no place to store our garden tools.
