Living in a house with three girls, Im always in the doghouse, so I thought I may as well build one!
A bar that all the family can use, and in lockdown has become an escape from the house for kids home schooling and parents working!
It has Sports on the TV for the boys, and somewhere nice to relax for mum. The kids love the Pacman arcade machine, and helping out behind the bar.
Built during the second lockdown it was finished just before Christmas 2020, and just in time before we were all locked down at Christmas! It was a great place to escape the house on Christmas eve and also new years eve, and one that Boris couldn't curfew!!It is a Standard 8x12 Summerhouse, built by Sheds, Sheds, Shed of Worksop. I then insulated with breathable membrane, polystyrene, vapour barrier and then cladd the interior with tongue and groove cladding. The bar is home made, based on a 2x2 frame, clad in T&G and a living edge oak bartop. Flooring is insulated laminate flooring.
