    Shed Features

Our Shed is such a fabulous sociable space, offering a retro music system with lovingly collected pre-loved vinyl records; adding a exciting vibe. We have a gorgeous granny style glass bureau, which my Sister upcycled with clever paint, waxing and mood lighting; within nestles my collection of tasty gins from around the Country Mmmmm. I have collected pre-loved furniture, saving items from land fill and upcycled. Our cinema seats were used during the war, apparently from India. Almost all the furniture and furnishings have been bought, 2nd hand through Facebook Marketplace for just £'s. I designed the lodge whilst stuck in our bedroom with Covid in December 2020 and it truly kept me sane. It's got power, lighting and heating so can be enjoyed all year around. We love entertaining friends and family and it's added so much fun to our outside space. I've added a fire bowl, seating and a canopy to the forecourt area with exterior lighting too. I also use the shed with my grandchildren, reading books, playing board games and having lunch 'in Nanny's lodge' . I don't know how we could ever do without it now.... This is a Much Loved Shed x

    Other Shed info

We had to extend the rear garden into the driveway, erect new fencing and a solid patio base. Once the shed company erected the lodge, My husband and Brother insulated, added marine ply board inside and we had electrics installed by a qualified electrician. We then painted the whole interior and exterior in Green Cuprinol Paint, fitted underlay plus a carpet and then continued with the exciting bit; the interior design. I added a printed shower curtain, creating a false woodland and waterfall scene with a window frame and curtains to make it look more realistic. (I do have a great video but can't work out how to upload)
